    Description

    A 1940s African American Horsman Doll. She's unmarked and missing her pin tagged to her dress which, identified her the  as, "Lifelike Horsman, Softee plastic skin like arms and legs, flexible fingers sleeps and cries". Her composition head is attached to a muslin cloth body with a crying mechanism inside that does not work. She is 17 inches tall, with a black glued-on wig, brown sleep eyes with lashes, and a closed mouth. Her organdy dress and bonnet, shoes, socks and accessories are original.
