Description

A very fine, extensively used, Asian type, antique tinder pouch with fire steel attached.
Probably China or Japan, ca. 18th-19th century.
Thick leather pouch with brass decorative mounts and suspension ring.
Very fine used condition.
Nice patina. Wonderful, extensive wear on steel indicates right handed use.
A very fine example of this classic type of early fire steel.
