    Description

    Antique Horsman Baby Bumps Doll Ca 1910 12".
    This guy is at least 100 years old and looks like he has never been cleaned in that time! His face is modeled after Kämmer & Reinhardt's doll mold 100 and is composition with painted features. Please see photos for damages- he has heavy cracking especially under his right nostril. His body is cloth, jointed and tightly stuffed. The material is quite dirty but under the diaper is cleaner and looks like it might have once been pink. The material has a different feel to it. I read that some were velvet and some sateen- he leans more toward velvet to me, but it is very worn down. His hands are clubs. I cannot find a marking on him but from what I have read he looks to be the beginning of this line of dolls.
