Antique / Vintage Arabian Carpet Sellers and Camel Spelter Striker Lighter

Vintage /Antique Cold Painted Spelter Table Lighter or Striker.
This features two Arabian Carpet Sellers.
The younger boy is sitting on a cushion on top of the Camel and displaying a carpet as the older man is holding a rope (wire) attached to the Camel as he leads it. (this rope(wire) does not stay inside his hand.)
The Camel is beautifully detailed and has a shimmering gold finish that appears to be a bronze color.  The paint on this piece is vibrant and colorful.
It has the spelter striker located at the back end of the Camel hidden within the carpet and the flint is next to the boy’s arm and twists to open.
This measures about 7” tall and 4-1/2” long at the base and 2-1/2” wide at the base. Under the base the previous owner put felt dots on it to protect furniture.
It is my understanding that this is from the 1930's as stated by the estate of the previous owner.
This beautifully detailed decorative piece is sure to be a great addition to any collection and for sure a great conversation piece.
