Type and location of the stone is unknown, I have forgotten, we had 100's.
Suitable to be used as a jewelry pendant, cabochon, medallion or ornament. These are left over, new and unused jewelry store inventory. Almost every teenage girl had to have at least one when they came in the store.
I retired in 2015 with 2 jewelry stores. A salesman would stop by with these pendant pieces. I had a Silversmith on staff, she would often put these into a wire-wrap or set them in Sterling and they were pretty good sellers. They have a small hole drilled into the top. If you want to use them as a pendant, you need EITHER a split ring, pinch clasp, snap clasp, or pendant bail.
I learned some important lessons by owning 2 jewelry stores. The biggest was women like attention, and anything unusual gets loads of attention. Other women will see this, and then ask about it. The wearer gets to tell about it, and then the other women lean in to get a closer look. Something that nobody else has is a big plus. Seen so many darn diamonds in my day one the size of a coconut would not impress me.
