    Description

    The Winterhilfswerk or Winter Help Work (WHW) was a winter relief charity program started in 1931 in response to the depression. In 1933 Hitler made it an official Nazi program. The pins and badges were handed out to those who donated and proudly wore.  Reverse has original vertical pinback, marked RZM and maker mark, "M9/29" for Rud Wachtler & Lange, Mittweida.  Excellent Condition.
