(Heer) Hat Wreath and Cockade are nonmagnetic, appearing to be manufactured of alloy or aluminum. Both are undamaged; however, they show expected patina. Wreath is sharply detailed

Caution:  Unless
Era
insignia prongs are
carefully
bent at base
w/needle nose , they will break
.  Thats why so many ERA insignia mounting prongs are missing.  Neither insignia have Waffenachts which collector informs is not unusual for era Originals.  Set was purchased
in late 1950’s in a Strasbourg, Germany tailor shop that tailored/supplied Reich uniforms/accessories during WWII,  along with several “cannot sell” era items.
