    Up for consideration, I have a lower unit taken from a mid 1980s 80 HP Mercury outboard. Its in good working condition. It shifts well and the gear oil is dark, not milky. Theres a bit of the skeg worn off but it works fine and doesnt affect the performance. I was told this will fit 1975-1986 75/80/85 HP Mercury outboards.
