Incentive to Humanity Award    AKA   Red Cross Order
2nd class Ladies badge
Established by a Royal Rescript dated
30 May 1917 to
recognize service to humanity and charity.  This award consisted of
four grades for male recipients with three grades for female recipients.  After 1944, the Bulgarian
government removed the royal cypher from between the cross arms. The government abolished this award in 1947.
The obverse inscription translates to "For Humanity 1916";
reverse inscription translates to "Bulgaria's Gratitude".
Sources report that under 100 Ladies received this grade of the award

Made of  silvered metal and hard enamel; minor metal patina.  No apparent damage or defects.
Original owner's name & specific activities unknown.
