    Description

Peggy Petite is a jointed 8 1/2" vinyl toddler doll that was manufactured in the USA for Horsman circa 1956.  Peggy Petite was a Ginny and similar doll competitor that comes with her original box  Though she is pretty much UN-played with, Peggy Petite does have flaws which I believe may have been mostly caused by oxidation from having been stored in her box over the years.  First, she smells like mothballs.  I believe her original owner thought that moth balls would protect her.  She will need an "airing."  Her lovely pink nylon dress, its attached pink under slip, the ribbons on her net bonnet, her vinyl side strapped shoes, and her rayon socks sustain tea colored and off-white (under slip) staining.  Her panties' elastic band has also severed on its backside.  Her outfit may require laundering.  Peggy Petite retains lovely facial coloring.  She is a sweetly faced doll with one stroke blonde brows, blue sleep eyes, molded lashes, delicately painted black under lashes, blush, and a closed rosy mouth.  The tiny dark spot on the tip of her nose may or may not be removable.  Her ash blonde hair retains its original "bob" set.  Though she may need "sprucing up," Peggy Petite is a hard to find Horsman toddler doll that comes with her even harder to find original box.  Such a cutie!
