Description

Tungsten Putty is perfect to add small amounts of weight to your car. Weight of putty in kit is 1 oz (28 grams).
Tungsten tuning chips are small tungsten chips, about 31 chips = 0.5 oz. A full 1 oz of chips are in the tuning kit giving you 2 0z of flexible, dense tuning weight.
Please keep chips away from small children as they are small enough to swallow and may cause choking or internal damage.
Tungsten Putty has the following advantages:
1. Putty molds to any shape, so you can use it anywhere on your car no matter what design you have.
2. Putty is sticky. Drill a hole( 1/4" to 3/8" works fine), or stick it in a corner of a weight pocket.
3. Tungsten Putty is not as dense as tungsten. Be sure and maximize your use of tungsten and then finish up with a little putty. The best way to do that is to finish with TxW small tuning chips to bring the weight up to very close to your limit, and then finish off with the putty.
4. Tungsten putty is non-toxic, but do not let a child under 6 play with hit as it may be a choking hazard.
5. Saves you time because you can easily add just the right amount without breaking off weights or finding just the right size weight that you need.
6. You can place a few chips where they can be removed by hand if you car is overweight at check in. Easy to stick to the side of the car with double sided scotch tape, or even regular tape.

4. So thin you can cover the bottom of your car with chips on double sided tape and not hit the track. ( We recommend covering the chips with metal tape to keep them from getting knocked off in the stop section.)
