My wife and I wrote these 3 articles about Japanese Girl’s
Day Festival (Hina Matsuri) and
Boy’s Day Festival (Tango- no - Sekku). In the early1980's we started buying these antique
dolls in Japan. We found them to be fascinating historical art by Japanese doll artisans.
These articles contain very good
basic information on Japanese Festival dolls and their history.
Also many great patterns for other dolls and doll clothes.

We have many issues of this copy available.
Doll Life magazine was only published from 1991 to 1994
and published only a total of 8 issues. So these are both
rare and scarce.
