Vintage, original souvenir gift from the opening night of the Chicago PLAYBOY CLUB in February 1960.
Japanese, ca. 1959 - 1960.
Promotional piece, custom made in Japan for the Playboy Club opening in Chicago.
(That was the first Playboy Club in the world!)
Black and white "Opening Night....." text on one side and the Playboy Bunny logo on the other.
Ronson Adonis type mechanism.
Near mint, never fired condition.
Lighter works but needs flint and fluid.
This type of lighter was later mass produced with the black and white Bunny logo on both sides.
This is a rare precursor or prototype, limited edition, gifted, but never sold!
