    Description

    Winterhilfswerk.....Winter Relief Fund.   Its slogan was "None shall stave or freeze".  The drive began in 1931, but Adolf Hitler would later claim sole credit for the program.  It ran the entire length of WW2 from October to March each year providing food, clothing, coal and other items to the less fortunate Germans during the winter months.
