    Description

    A fine World War II German Kriegsmarine senior petty officer or Hauptgefreiter rank chevron that is in excellent condition. It is constructed of three blue rank chevrons on a white duck material backing. The reverse is marked with the manufacturer’s logo and the letter “K” for Kriegsmarine … not to be confused with SA-Marine of HJ-Marine insignia. Additionally, the reverse is dated “6.10.38”. The Hauptgefreiter rank was the most senior of the Gefrieter ranks and the insignia is of the quality afforded to that distinction. Choice example in excellent, undamaged condition.
