    Original WWII German Reichsmütterdienst

    porcelain pin. The brooch is in fair condition with flaws. A lot of the paint has worn off. There are light cracks. It is still wearable, but is delicate. See photos for size and condition.
    Reichsmütterdienst was a joint effort of the Deutsches Frauenwerk (DFW) and the National Socialist Women's Association. Around 1.7 million women were in the DFW and around 2.3 million in the women's group. They organized so-called “mother training courses” across Germany, which were attended by 1.14 million women in 54,000 courses from 1934 to 1937 alone.
