    Description

    This is a very fine Spanish Civil War campaign medal in excellent condition. The planchet is well-struck exhibiting sharp detail and finished in gun metal blue with gold washed edge on both sides and the eagle on reverse. It is suspended from the original ribbon which is strong and with vibrant color. The medal is accompanied by its original cardboard box of issue that is titled on top, “MEDALLA DE TROPA, DONATIVO DEL MINISTERIO, DEL EJECCITO” (Medal for the Troops, Presented by the Minister of the Army). It is marked with the makers name, “DIEZ Y COMPANIA, S.A.-Madrid” on the side, and “'MINISTERIO DEL EJERCITO MEDALLA CONMEMORATIVA' (Ministry of the Army, Commemorative Medal). The box exhibits some wear but remains in very presentable condition.
